Playa Las Gatos and its many beachside
Playa La Ropa from the water taxi which crosses the waters of Zihuatanejo Bay
from the fishing pier in downtown Zihuatanejo to Playa Las Gatos.
The local buses pass the Bayview Grand at regular intervals, and the one to Playa Linda travels along a lovely landscaped boulevard around the Marina, passing Porto Ixtapa, Punta Ixtapa and the exclusive resort of Melia Azul and its Convention Centre to Playa Linda.
From here one can take the 15 minute water taxi to Isla Ixtapa, an idyllic island with four beaches, beachside palapa restaurantsand wonderful snorkeling opportunities to view fantastic variety of tropical fish swimming over the coral off Playa Coral on Isla Ixtapa.
